Technical Documentation & Systems – ERP Platform

The Context

A global, cloud-based Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) vendor required comprehensive user and developer documentation for its financial, human resources, and procurement software suites.

The Challenge

The platform handled highly intricate financial and regulatory workflows (such as accounts receivable, customer payment maintenance, and public API validations). The content had to be highly structured for diverse audiences—ranging from enterprise end-users needing step-by-step online help to developers looking for exact API scenario validations and error codes.

The Strategy

Authored and maintained a massive library of release notes, online help systems, and installation/configuration PDFs. Designed structured developer docs using a "Given-When-Then" framework to map public API endpoint behaviors, POST/PATCH requests, and framework validation error codes. 

Managed full single-source publishing and content authoring lifecycles using MadCap Flare, pushing version-controlled changes to Visual Studio and deploying through Git and Microsoft Azure. 

Oversaw UI string management and localization documentation, verifying metadata, context rules, and character restrictions to ensure seamless multi-language translation workflows.

The Impact

Established a single source of truth that bridged developer documentation with enterprise user support, drastically reducing friction for onboarding clients and clarifying complex system integrations.
